Черная магия колониализма: колониальный дискурс и образ «другого» в творчестве У. Шекспира в контексте историографии «нового историзма»

Аннотация


Одним из самых влиятельных направлений в современной историографии остается «новый историзм». Стремление к изучению проявлений политического в культурных феноменах объединило исследователей нематериальных форм власти, культуры и искусства, литературы и лингвистики. При этом, как справедливо отмечали критики, зачастую работы этих историков не столько раскрывают властную и политическую составляющую культурных феноменов прошлого, сколько свидетельствуют о политических взглядах, своеобразном «символе веры» современного западного левого интеллектуала. Одной из весьма популярных тем антиколониального вектора неоисторического дискурса стал колониализм в раннестюартовской литературе, прежде всего — в шекспировской драме.

Особым вниманием в этом отношении пользовалось последнее законченное произведение Шекспира — «Буря», превратившаяся по воле авторов неоисторического направления в «манифест колониализма». Подобный подход к проблеме образа «другого» выглядит излишне политизированным и не позволяет поместить его в контекст других «других» в драматургии Великого Барда и его современников. Сопоставлению дискурсов «другого» в «Буре» и иных произведениях Шекспира, а также изучению этих образов в рамках неоплатонических ренессансных представлений о Вселенной и посвящен представленный текст.
